World famous French photographer in the 1920’s said it best,
“Taking pictures is savoring life intensely, every hundredth of a second.”
Someone once told me, even before my daughter Grace was born, “don’t blink.” The first year of her life has been an unbelievable experience of so many changes and “firsts.” I tried to just be present in those moments without going too much “paparazzi” on her.
truth be told, as you can see from my Facebook and Instagram posts, I did click quite a bit.
I share my “capture compulsion” with American artist, Andy Warhol, who famously stated, “The best thing about a picture is that it never changes, even when the people in it do.”
I find myself looking back on those memories already! I never want to forget the crinkle of her nose, her two teeth smile, the ever changing color of her eyes.
That’s why I love “Grow with Me” sessions. They capture babies’ 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, and finally at a year.
Not only do “Grow with Me” clients get special, discounted sessions, but their children get familiar and more relaxed with the same “friendly” photographer’s face!
Take a memory walk with me and see one of my “Grow with Me” clients…
